Terms and Conditions

1. Overview & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers and visitors using the services and facilities of Crystal Wave Laundromat (ABN: 13 693 481 373), located at Shop 36B, 789 Albany Hwy, East Victoria Park, Perth WA 6101, Australia, and using our website at https://www.crystalwavelaundromat.com.au.

By entering our premises, utilizing our washers or dryers, or registering for the Crystalwave Rewards program, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

2. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Guarantees

Our services come with statutory consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (the Australian Consumer Law).

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions operates to exclude, restrict, or modify any statutory condition, warranty, guarantee, right, or remedy that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to the resupply of the service or a refund of the amount paid for the service.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices displayed are in Australian Dollars (AUD). Applicable taxes are handled in accordance with Australian law.
• Dryer Pricing: Dryer cycles are charged in 5-minute blocks as indicated on machine displays.
• Payment: Machine payments are made through Bubble Pay. Scan the QR code displayed at the laundromat or visit the Bubble Pay portal.
• Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to amend service pricing or operational hours from time to time with notice displayed on-site and on our website.

4. Machine Operation & Customer Care Responsibilities

As a self-service facility, customers are responsible for the correct selection and operation of machines:

• Check Pockets: You must inspect and completely empty all pockets before placing garments into machines. Items such as coins, keys, pens, lighters, screws, nails, or sharp objects can cause severe damage to your clothes and our commercial machines.
• Follow Garment Care Labels: You are responsible for verifying fabric suitability, color fastness, and selecting appropriate wash temperatures and drying cycles for your laundry.
• Automatic Detergent: Our washing machines are equipped with an automated chemical injection system delivering free, commercial-grade laundry detergent. You do not need to add soap or powder.
• Drum Capacity: Please do not force or overload machines beyond their rated drum capacity (e.g. 9kg, 14kg, 18kg, 27kg). Overloading hinders washing/drying quality and may damage the motor.

5. Dedicated Pet Machine Policy (Hygiene Standard)

To maintain the highest health and hygiene standards for all customers, any pet bedding, blankets, animal jackets, or heavily soiled pet accessories MUST ONLY be washed and dried in the dedicated Pet Stack Washer Dryer.

Placing pet bedding or pet accessories into general clothing washers or dryers is strictly prohibited.

6. Unattended Laundry & Lost Property

While you are welcome to visit nearby shops or cafes during your cycle, please plan your time so you return before your wash or dry finishes:

• Cycle Completion: In courtesy to other waiting customers, when a cycle ends, machines must be promptly unloaded.
• Courtesy Removal: If laundry is left in a completed machine and another patron requires it, items may be carefully and cleanly transferred into an available in-store laundry basket.
• Customer Risk: Subject to non-excludable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, unattended items left on the premises remain the responsibility of the customer. Crystal Wave Laundromat is not liable for items stolen, misplaced, or damaged when left unattended.
• Unclaimed Items: Laundry left unclaimed on the premises for more than fourteen (14) days may be donated to a registered local charity or responsibly discarded.

7. Machine Malfunctions & Support

In the rare event of a machine malfunction, error code, payment failure, or cycle interruption:

• Immediately call or WhatsApp our management on 0435 632 801 or email us at Crystalwavelaundromat@gmail.com.
• Please note the machine number, time of incident, and issue description.
• If a genuine machine failure occurs, we will promptly arrange an alternative cycle restart, credit, or full refund.

8. Premises Safety, Smoke-Free Policy & CCTV

• 100% Smoke-Free and Vape-Free: In accordance with the Tobacco Products Control Act 2006 (WA) and shopping centre rules, smoking and e-cigarette vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere inside or immediately adjacent to the laundromat.
• No Hazardous Materials: Rags, towels, or garments soaked in flammable liquids, motor oil, petrol, paint thinners, or industrial chemicals must never be placed in our washers or dryers due to risk of spontaneous combustion and fire.
• CCTV Surveillance: The premises are equipped with continuous Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras operating under the Surveillance Devices Act 1998 (WA) for customer protection and security.

9. Crystalwave Rewards Program

• Membership is open to customers who register via our website or in-store QR code and agree to receive promotional updates.
• Personal promo codes issued to members are non-transferable and intended solely for the registered customer when using the Bubble Pay portal.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional rewards with reasonable notice. You can opt out or cancel your Rewards membership anytime by emailing us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
